Three Nebo Schools placed first and second in the Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (UIAAA) Directors’ Cup. This award is based on overall athletic performance on a state level. Team GPA's are also factored in the award. These rankings are final and include all the 2012-13 sports seasons.

Nebo School District welcomes Brenda Black as the newest payroll secretary to replace Marie Ashworth since she retired.
Mrs. Black earned her Associates Degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University with academic honors and graduated with honors from high school. Her new career will include processing employee job changes, verifications of employment, W-4 changes, and direct deposits. She will also correspond with and report to the Department of Work Force Services and help with payroll.
Nebo School District welcomes Jackie Olsen to the human resource department after Shauna Warren retired.
The new receptionist/secretary for the district office, Jackie Olsen, has worked as a secretary in the district for 13 years. She worked at Springville High, Spanish Fork Junior High, Rees Elementary, and Sierra Bonita before coming to the district office.
Spanish Fork, Utah, June 24, 2013 — Dwight Liddiard, principal of East Meadows Elementary school in Spanish Fork was selected as Utah’s 2013 National Distinguished Principal. The 2013 celebration marks the 30th year that the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) has presented this prestigious award.
Liddard was nominated and selected by his fellow principals through a statewide search process conducted by the Utah Association of Elementary School Principals, said Lana Hiskey, Nebo School District’s Communications Specialist.
