Nebo Athletic Hall of Fame - SHS 1990 3A Baseball State Champions - Answer Wednesday's Challenge

The 1990 Springville High School Baseball team was one of the most outstanding teams ever to represent Springville High School in any sport.  This team not only had many outstanding athletes, they also had a chemistry with one another that set them apart from other teams.  Many of these men served missions, attended college, are raising families, and are now enjoying very successful careers.

Kindergarten Enrollment Nebo School District

Nebo District is having Kindergarten Enrollment at your neighborhood school from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on March 12, 2013, for the Spanish Fork area; March 13, 2013, for the Payson, Salem, Santaquin, and Goshen areas; and March 14, 2013 for the Springville and Mapleton areas. Future kindergarten students need to bring a birth certificate, a copy of their current immunization records, and a proof of residency.

Mountain View Hospital and Schools Partner for Valuable Experiences


Mountain View Hospital and the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) at Payson High School and Salem Hills High School have been partners for several years. HOSA students can gain valuable experience in the Healthcare arena.

"Many of our members are considering careers in health care,” said Brian Blake, HOSA Director at Payson High School. "Through touring various facilities, they have directly seen the type work that is out there and conversed with real medical professionals."

Board Vacancy: February 6 Filing Deadline

Notice is hereby given that the Nebo District Board of Education will take action to fill a vacancy on the Board during their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.  Interviews for the position will be conducted by the Board that same day in an open meeting beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Both meetings will be held at Nebo District Offices, 350 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah.

Nebo School District and the Board of Education will formally recognize outstanding classified employees in the upcoming March Board Meeting.  You have an opportunity to nominate classroom technicians, bus drivers, custodians, food service workers, secretaries, assistants, maintenance personnel, media technicians, bus technicians, warehouse workers, mechanics and other hourly employees – who add so much to the smooth operation of the District and the education of our students.  One classified employee in each of eight categories will be recognized for their
