Elementary registration for Nebo School District is August 2 at 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at your local school. (Exception Mt. Loafer Elementary on July 18 - 20.)
Nebo District High School Seniors performed with the Utah Symphony in their annual All-Star Evening at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. The three students from the Nebo Youth Philharmonic are Tina Trevino (string bass) from Salem Hills High, Christopher Mullen (tuba), and Isaac Webber (cello) both from Payson High.
Nebo Students Excelled at Several Science and Engineering Fairs
Nebo Students were awarded over $250,000 in scholarships and won two of the five coveted final positions at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) held in Los Angeles, California on May 8-13, 2011.
Rhonda Grange has been nominated by Stacie Conrad as Nebo Transportation’s newest Outstanding Employee for May 2011.
Rhonda has been a Bus Attendant for three years. She has been married to Roger for 42 years. She has two children, Darrell and Radonna. She is a wonderful Grandma to five grandchildren: four boys and one girl.
Rhonda’s daughter, Radonna, drives a school bus for Nebo; and when asked about her Mom, she said, “She is the best Mom in the whole world and is my best friend.”
Rick Ainge, is one of the newer elected board members on the Nebo School Board of Education. He won his seat in the Salem area that includes portions of Spanish Fork, Woodland Hills, Elk Ridge and Payson. Rick filled Debbie Swenson’s seat. Debbie did not run again after serving for eight years on the Nebo School Board of Education.
