ParentLink Help for Employees

Ensure your contact information is correct

As an employee  without kids in the district, the contact information in ParentLink comes from our finance software.
This includes: Home phone, Mobile phone, Work phone, Home Addresses and Email Addresses.

1. Information in ParentLink is updated nightly from our employee data.
   As illustrated in graphic.
2.  Login to the Employee Finance Portal and use Self Serve, to submit a request to update your Address and Phone Numbers, or contact the HR department.

As an employee  with kids in the district, the contact information in ParentLink comes from both our finance software, and SIS.
This includes: Home phone, Mobile phone, Work phone, Home Addresses and Email Addresses.

1. Information in ParentLink is updated nightly from SIS and our employee data.
   As illustrated in graphic.
2. Login to both the Employee Finance Portal and SIS to edit information.
   Where data is stored determines where it is used in ParentLink.

Logging in to ParentLink

1. Follow the "ParentLink" link from the Employee Home Page or Menu.
2. Use your Nebo username and Nebo password to login.
   Same as your email.

Add a Texting Number

If you would like to receive messages as a text from ParentLink it must be added directly into ParentLink, because there is nowhere to store texting information in SIS.
All other phone types and email addresses should be entered in SIS.

1. Login to ParentLink.
2. Click the My Account link at the top right-hand corner of the page
3. Click the Add button under the list of Delivery Addresses
4. Select Text/SMS Number
5. Type in the ten-digit textable number.
6. Specify your carrier from the Provider list.
7. Be sure to click SAVE.

Control which Number is Called

Normal ParentLink phone calls are placed to only one number per employee, using the following precedence: Home phone, Mobile phone, then Work phone. If that number is the same for more than one employee, the message is combined into one call.

You can control which number is used by ParentLink, by disabling numbers of higher precedence.

Emergency calls from ParentLink are placed to all non-disabled numbers. (Phones of type Other won't receive Normal ParentLink calls, so they may be used to only receive Emergency calls.)

1. Click the My Account link at the top right-hand corner of the page.
2. Check the Checkbox next to the number you would like to disable.
3. Click the Disable button under the list of Delivery Addresses.
4. Be sure to click SAVE.

Do Not Call List

In most cases the steps listed under "Control which Number is Called" above will be sufficient to prevent unwanted calls. However in the case of a business receiving calls for multiple parents or other unique situations, the district does maintain a Do Not Call list.
