The Iowa Tests of Basic Skills window runs from September 14-Oct. 2, 2009. Materials are due back to the District Office no later than 4:30 on October 2nd.

Beginning in the school year 2009-2010, the Direct Writing Assessment will be given in grades 5 and 8. The assessment will also be midified to be taken on the computer rather that on paper.

Students in 5th and 8th grades will also be able to ust the Utah Write tool for formative assessments throughout the entire school year to analyze student writing.

Misc. stuff

Digital SAMS is the Nebo School Districts newest data analysis tool.

The tool not only contains assessment results from the past five years, but contains a live feed to data stored in the SIS system.

This year Nebo School District Schools did very well in both the No Child Left Behind accountability system, and the UPASS accountability system.

36 of the districts 38 schools made AYP and 36 of the 38 also made UPASS. Great job Nebo students and teachers.
