About our school

Canyon Elementary opened its doors in 1996. Located at 1492 East 1240 South in Spanish Fork, it boasts a spectacular view of the mountains. Canyon Elementary School is nestled among beautiful homes in a growing area of the community. Currently it is the largest school in the district, serving over 830 students.
Because reading is recognized as having a huge influence on a student’s success in school, Canyon Elementary teachers plan large blocks of time daily for teaching reading and literacy skills. There is also a Take Home Library and an I Can Read program to supplement students’ reading abilities. Canyon Elementary is fortunate to have supportive families that recognize the importance education plays in their children’s lives.
