Students at Barnett Elementary have been working hard to earn Brag Notes. When a student earns a brag note their name is added to the Principal’s 200 Club Board. Brag notes can be earned by living the 7 Habits and being a leader in our school. Once the board is full of student names we have a drawing for books and prizes. Here are the students who won for October.  Thanks for making so many good choices Barnett Bulldogs!

On Friday the 13th, students gathered in front of the school to set off on an awesome biking trip.

The group left the school and headed for the river trail in Spanish Fork. When they made it to the trail, they biked to Canyon View Park where they ate lunch.

When lunch was over they rode the rest of the trail down to the SF sports park and then back to the school.  All that were involved had a great time despite a few flat tires and broken gears!  It was a great opportunity for the kids to enjoy an exciting ride!

Thank You Mrs Thomas

Larsen Elementary News - Wed, 10/18/2017 - 10:28pm

Happy Principal's Week to Mrs. Thomas!  Larsen Elementary is so lucky to have such an amazing woman as our principal.  She is such a champion for students and wants every single one to suceed in their education.  Mrs. Thomas makes sure that she gets to know each student by name and that they feel welcome and loved while at our school.  One student was heard walking down the hall saying "Mrs. Thomas is so cool and she new my name."  You will see her walking around in all of her different colored Converse shoes having fun with the students.  Mrs. Thomas will always point out all the positive attributes that a child has and makes them feel like they have someone that believes in them.

Her staff is equally as lucky to have her as their leader.  She works hard at helping all of our teachers acheive success in their classrooms and makes sure that they know she supports them fully.  Mrs. Thomas is concerned about what is going on in each of their lives and goes the extra mile to help in whatever way she can.  Many countless hours are spent by her at the school making sure that everything is running smoothly and that everyone is happy.

Thank you Mrs. Thomas for all you do!  You are simply the BEST!

Can you find the winning class of our box top competition? I'll give you a clue, that particular witch is sporting 23 stripes on her hat. That's right! Congratulations Mrs. McFarland's class; collectively you brought in 575 box tops, earning your class free tickets to Jaker's pumpkin patch.

Thank you everyone who participated and sent in box tops. It was really fun watching these hats grow. (If you missed getting your box tops in before the competition ended or you're saving your box tops for a later competition, you may want to double check and make sure they're not going to expire. Many box tops will be expiring Nov 1st.
