This month, our student Melanie King was awarded the Mayor's Youth Recognition Award by the Payson City Council. This award recognizes Melanie's hard work and positive attitude. Melanie was nominated for this award by teachers who have experienced and appreciated her efforts. Here's what some of them have to say:
"Melanie King is always hard-working, self motivated, and the first to volunteer when one of her fellow students needs help or assistance. Furthermore, she sets a high standard for herself and encourages those around her to do the same. Always a quick smile, and a kind word to those she comes into contact with."
"Melanie is a dream student. She always completes her work on time and it is perfectly done. She is kind and respectful--so deserving of this award!!" - Ms. Clayton
"Melanie is nice, obedient, hard working, friendly, curious, and she participates and is fun to have in class. She is also very humble. She is a good role model for all students to follow." – Mr. Howell
Great work, Melanie! Keep it up!
