The volleyball team is putting donations together for our Thursday night breast cancer awareness game against Provo. We invite everyone to come out and support the volleyball team as they support those who have overcome and are overcoming their fight against breast cancer.

We will be having a dig meter, and are asking people to pledge anywhere from 25 cents to 1$ per dig that the varsity team gets during their game. We will have a sign up at the door and we will collect money during the game for all this that would like to participate. The foundation we are donating the money to is called National Breast Cancer Foundation. All those who donate will receive a pink breast cancer awareness wrist band.

Thank you so much for your support! See you all on Thursday at 6:30!

Monday Make-Up

Maple Mountain High School News - Tue, 10/10/2017 - 8:47am

Dear Students and Parents,

This Monday, October 16 will be our first Monday Make-up Day. We will have one per term. We will shorten the school day and excuse students at 1:10 pm. Teachers will be in their rooms from 1:10-2:30pm helping students. Buses will still run as usual on Mondays at 1:45pm. Parents can visit with teachers on Monday also. We are anticipating that it will be pretty hectic in the classrooms for the first 60 minutes, but it will hopefully calm down the last 20 minutes or so if you want to drop by then you are welcome or you may email the teachers.

Monday is also Mega Detention. If your student has any NCs this term or from previous terms they will want to sign-up for detention. To sign-up students pay $5 in the finance office to be added to the detention list. Students will serve 3 hours in the detention lab (from 2pm-5pm) and receive 5 hours of credit.

Last, I want you to know how much I love working at MMHS and spending time with students—your children. Please follow me on Instagram @principal_nielsen. I post “what’s happening” at school. And please like us on FACEBOOK!  https://www.facebook.com/maplemountainhighschool/

Thanks for your support and GO EAGLES!!

Our awesome MJHS orchestra students along with the orchestra students from MMHS held their Fall Orchestra concert on Wednesday, October 4th. Students performed while wearing their favorite Halloween costumes. It was a great way to start the Halloween season off with a bang!  The concert was held in the MMHS Auditorium and was very well attended. Each Orchestra played two numbers with other individual performances by students between the different orchestra groups. Our MJHS students did very well and are to be congratulated on representing the program so well. Way to go Mustang Orchestra!

Road Construction - 2550 East

Faculty, Students and Parents:

Spanish Fork City will be repaving (doing road work) on 2550 East (the road east of the school from 4th North to the Seminary Building) the week of October 9th through 13th (next week weather permitting). Please plan an alternate route to school if possible or be careful using that road.  Plan to park in the north or south parking lots if possible.  They are going to try to leave at least one lane of traffic open and not close the entire road.  Thanks for your help in this matter and sorry for the inconvenience.
