Kinder Trees

Salem Elementary News - Wed, 01/10/2018 - 10:07am

We all look forward to the holidays, and before we know it they are here and then gone!  Here is a look when our hallways and classrooms were filled with hoilday cheer.  Mrs. Bangerters class making Holiday Tree Treats. The kids had a blast decorating and eating their candies.

Things have settled down, and although our classrooms are no longer filled with holiday cheer, they are still filled with a delightsome bunch of kiddos learning and teachers working hard to do our best in this new year!

New Year

Salem Hills High School News - Tue, 01/02/2018 - 3:38pm

We started the new year off with a special activity. Mr. Peery had a challenge for us all this morning during our Positive in the Present time. " I would like each student to pick a word that will change their life this year, narrow their focus, simplify and live with more clarity, purpose, and passion." Each teacher and student put their word on a sticky note and we put them in our hallway. This was an inspiring activity. Students stopped all day to read the words on the wall. This is going to be a great year and this was a great way to start it! What is your word?

Parents and students donated toys, school supplies, hygiene items, clothing and more, to make Christmas shoeboxes. These boxes were sent to children around the world who don't get Christmas, let alone any items of their own. We made 21 boxes as a class. These will be delivered this holiday season. Each child will get their own box to enjoy. We also included letters introducing our class and students.
