Utah Valley Chamber honors our education sponsors

Rees Elementary News - Fri, 10/06/2017 - 9:25am

Every single day in Utah, businesses are donating time and money to benefit education.  Nebo School district is no exception.  We had the opportunity today to honor the many many business owners who generously provide time and money to our schools.  Rees Elementary chose to honor Bill Summers and Maceys grocery store for being champions of education. If you've been to Maceys, you've seen Bill.  He works side by side with his employees and is always helping meet customers needs.  Bill has always been willing to donate food and supplies to our schools and we are so grateful.  Thank you to all of our generous businesses, we appreciate your support!

Diamondback Day

Diamond Fork Junior High School News - Thu, 10/05/2017 - 2:03pm

Nearly 700 students in our school were able to attend "Diamondback Day" this morning. Students without any deficient grades (D or F) and ZERO tardies and unexcused absences were able to attend. We loaded the buses early and went to see a movie at the Payson theaters. We are so appreciative to Ms. Draper, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Parrott and others who helped make this day happen. It is a HUGE undertaking and it went off without a hitch! Thanks to our awesome students too for their hard work.

Faculty, Students and Parents:

Spanish Fork City will be repaving (doing road work) on 2550 East (the road east of the school from 4th North to the Seminary Building) the week of October 9th through 13th (next week weather permitting). Please plan an alternate route to school if possible or be careful using that road.  Plan to park in the north or south parking lots if possible.  They are going to try to leave at least one lane of traffic open and not close the entire road.  Thanks for your help in this matter and sorry for the inconvenience.
