Hello, Brockbank Families!
We are so excited for Tuesday, when we will open the doors and fill our classrooms and hallways with the BEST students ever! Our teachers have been working so hard and have a special place for each child to come to, as we begin a new school year! All of our classrooms are decorated so nicely and will be a special home away from home for our students! Our school is sparkling clean, thanks to Mr. Clark and his crew, and ready for lots of learning to take place!
As you all know, the school has had a lot of work done on it this summer! You will see such a difference as you walk through the doors and notice the bright, new lights! The temperature should stay consistent and the air flow will be much better! We appreciate the district and the efforts they have made to take care of our school!
We want to invite you to our Open House on Monday, August 20th, from 4:00-6:00pm. You will be able to meet your child's teacher and also sign up for PTA and buy school tee shirts.
Our PTA has worked extra hard this summer to plan some great activities throughout the upcoming year. I encourage you all to join PTA! There are so many things that our PTA does for our school! They organize parent helpers for the classrooms, support our school financially with equipment, supplies, birthday books, meals for the teachers on SEP nights, and many, many more things. Our children benefit so much from the support of our great PTA! Please join!
Just as a reminder, school begins Tuesday, August 21st, at 8:40 and will dismiss at 3:00pm. Kindergarten will begin Tuesday, August 28th. Early out day will be Mondays and we will dismiss at 2:15.
This will be a great year, as we focus on being Leaders of Our Own Learning! We hope to instill in our students that they need to take the initiative and create the path that leads them to success! We are here to support, help, nurture, and guide students on their journey!
Thanks so much for your help and support! We feel so fortunate to work with your child and look forward to a great year!
You’re the BEST!

BE A PART OF PTO THIS YEAR: Come to the PTO table during the Open House on August 20th! Sign-ups will be available for various committees but if you aren't able to donate your time to a committee, your contribution of $5 cash, check (payable to SFJHS PTA), or by Venmo at Mt. Loafer PTO is a great help in our efforts to enhance the experiences of students and staff at Mt. Loafer.

Take time to join PTA and give us an hour (or two) of your time this year.
Welcome Back!! It is always amazing to me how fast the summer flies by. A new year is always exciting for my kids. Riverview PTA’s goal is to foster a nurturing and caring environment that strives for continued parent involvement in helping build a better educational environment for our children. We also promote a school community where teachers and administrators can do their best work with the resources we can provide and help make school fun.
For the PTA to be effective and truly representative of the school, it is essential to have parental involvement from as many parents as possible. There are endless possibilities in ways you can help. You can help even if you work full-time. Whatever your own level of flexibility, Riverview PTA always appreciates their parent volunteers, as does our teachers and staff. Keep in mind that by volunteering, you will get to enjoy interacting with the kids, become friends with other parents, and accomplish things that truly make a difference.
PTA matters to you, your children, your school, and your community.Join vs Volunteer
You don’t have to join PTA to volunteer in the school or on any activities that PTA sponsors. You also don’t have to volunteer if you join PTA.
Joining PTA means you add your voice to the voices across the community, state, and nation that school and education is important. It also means that you support the teachers and students at Riverview Elementary. Just adding your support helps make Riverview OUR school.
Volunteering at school helps PTA run the many programs that benefit the students and community. We NEED volunteers who can help in all different ways. Commit to volunteer for an hour this year to help out at the school! I promise you will not regret it!
PTA membership is only $6 a parent. You can Venmo your membership dues to firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the attach sheet and send it to school.Upcoming Events

Mrs. Hanks will be teaching a resource class this year at Park! We are so excited to have her and welcome her as a Park Panther!
Here is a little about Mrs. Hanks in her own words:
I grew up in Salt Lake City and have attended both BYU and the University of Utah. I started teaching in 1992 and taught for 10 years in Davis School District in Washington State, both in Regular Elementary Education and Special Education. We were finally blessed to be parents of a daughter in 2003 and twin boys in 2005. We returned to Utah in 2005 and moved to Levan, Utah in 2008. I am in my 8th year serving on the school board in Juab School District and have enjoyed being involved at that level of education, but my absolute love is working with students. I look forward to returning to the classroom and am excited to teach at Park Elementary. WELCOME TO PARK! We're glad you're here!
Pre-testing for kindergarten students happens the first week of school before Kindergarten starts.
Please sign up.
